High-performance nickel and cobalt-based alloys engineered for extreme heat, stress, and corrosion resistance.
Precision Machined • High Tolerance • Quality Inspected
Overview
Super alloys (including Inconel, Hastelloy, and Waspaloy-type materials) are metallic alloys formulated to retain exceptional mechanical strength, creep resistance, and surface stability at temperatures exceeding 1000°F (538°C). Their nickel or cobalt base, combined with chromium and other refractory elements, gives them outstanding resistance to oxidation, corrosion, and thermal fatigue. Because they are notoriously difficult to machine due to work hardening and low thermal conductivity, super alloys require specialized tooling, rigid setups, and controlled cutting parameters to achieve tight tolerances.
