Process Notes
Fabrication Considerations
Laser Cutting
Fiber laser cutting achieves +/-0.1 mm positional accuracy on gauges up to 12 mm. Kerf width is approximately 0.15 mm. Small hole diameters should be at least 1.0x material thickness.
Bending & Forming
CNC press brake bending with angle accuracy of +/-0.5 degrees. Minimum bend radius varies by material and thickness; consult the table above for guidance. Hemming and curling are available on aluminum and steel.
Welding & Assembly
TIG and MIG welding available for aluminum, steel, and stainless steel. Weld beads are ground and finished to customer specification. PEM inserts and riveted hardware assembly are also supported.
Finishing
Powder coating, anodizing (Type II and III), chem film (Alodine), passivation, electropolishing, brushed finish, and silk-screen printing are available in-house.
